Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. Children (kindergarten through grade 6) are called forward by the presider and invited to a school classroom to listen to the readings as adapted in the Children's Lectionary. The regular order of the Liturgy of the Word is followed, including a sung psalm, the Gospel alleluia, etc. Children rejoin their parents in the sanctuary at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
