The Good Shepherd Catholic School Drama Program was established in 1999 to further encourage involvement in the arts. We believe that theatre arts help develop students’ self-confidence, imagination, empathy, cooperation/collaboration skills, concentration, and communication skills, as they prepare for a full-length stage production each Winter. 

Open to 8th grade students, our drama program offers a number of experiences in theater arts, including: 

  • Acting

  • Singing

  • Choreography

  • Make-up

  • Costume design

  • Set construction & design

  • Sound

  • Lighting

  • Special effects

Get ready for a magical evening! Our 8th graders are preparing their spring production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, premiering this April. We can’t wait to celebrate their talent and hard work on stage!
